What you can eat if you have Corona Virus ?
So there’s one question someone or the other is asking about Coronavirus. What one should do if he comes down with the Covid19? We know many people are the victims of this pandemic virus. It's really important to be safe.
I am not saying that there is any magic diet that will help cure Covid-19 but can reduce flu symptoms like fever, cough, etc. I will be giving some guidance like what you all can do in this situation.
Keep diet as your personal thing:-
The most important thing is to be your diet will be your personal thing. The common symptoms of COVID19 include Fever, headaches, shortness of breath, etc. Depending on your symptoms and their severity, plus what you like to eat and if anyone is around to help you cook, your diet is going to look different from someone else's who has COVID-19. Call your doctor for a checkup and look outside if there is any food or groceries are available. Ask for help from neighbors.
Drinking water at regular intervals
If you are having fever-like symptoms drink water at regular intervals. You can also try having Electrolytes drinks, Tea with honey, Fruit juices, Coconut water, etc. If you're not feeling well, it's important to stay hydrated and rest as much as you can.
Calories matter too
I agree you should go for nutritional diets but also you should intake some calories too. There are certain nutrients—including protein, vitamins A, C, D, and E that help support your immune system. Try having Smoothies with fruits this will help you a lot. Non-vegetarians can opt for Chicken Soup also. Try having Ginger with Tea.
Food one can limit too
I would definitely not recommend Alchohol. Alchohol and Coronavirus have no connection at all. This is the drink you should definitely stop if you have the symptom. Avoid having any kind of acidic food that may hurt your throat. Try avoiding spicy food as well. This are some of the things you can avoid. Now it totally depends on what type of symptoms you have. Do it accordingly.
Try having preservatives food items for safety purposes like soup at your home. Buy some shelf-stable or freezer foods like crackers, bread, and frozen fruit. This kind of things one must keep in emergencies.
